🌄 Brother Rabah TESTIMONY: From THE SEA TO THE MOUNTAIN — GOD Restored My LIFE & CALLING
1. The Place God Took Me Out Of — The “Sea” Season ✨
For 10 long years, I lived and worked in Bhubaneswar, a city close to the sea. But even though there was opportunity, my business struggled, and slowly I drifted away from God’s calling on my life.
Biblical Truth
Jonah 2:3–7 — Jonah was in the depths of the sea because he ran from God’s calling. I too missed God’s direction for a season, and the struggles only pushed me closer to Him.
Psalm 42:7 — “Deep calls to deep…” My life was surrounded by deep problems, but God was calling me deeper into His purpose.
✨2. God Intervened on 14 November 2022 — A Clear Guidance
On 14th November 2022, God clearly guided me and my wife to leave the sea region and move to Koraput, a land of mountains and waterfalls — a complete change.
Biblical Truth
Psalm 121:1–2 — “I lift up my eyes to the mountains… my help comes from the Lord.” God lifted my eyes from the plains and the sea to His mountain of help.
Genesis 12:1 — God called Abraham out of his familiar land into a place God would show him. In the same way, God asked us to relocate into His plan.
✨ 3. The Journey of Faith — Guided by the Holy Spirit ✨
While still in Bhubaneswar, during prayer, God showed me the region of Koraput. When I opened the map, my eyes fell on a small town — Semiliguda. Immediately, the Holy Spirit confirmed in my heart:
“This is the place. Go to Semiliguda.”
There was no human logic:
We knew no one there
We didn’t know what to do
We had no plan, only God’s voice
We only had a small Renault Kwid
But we had faith and courage
Like Abraham, we obeyed.

Hebrews 11:8 — “By faith Abraham obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord… and He will direct your paths.”
Isaiah 30:21 — “Your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
✨ 4. The Test of the Ghat — Sunki–Salur Mountain Road
As we journeyed following Google Maps, we faced one of the steepest and most dangerous ghats — the Sunki–Salur Ghat, a massive mountain climb.
I had never driven on a ghat road before — and the car was fully loaded.
Fear overshadowed us.
A Moment of Life-and-Death
At a steep point near the top of the mountain:
The engine suddenly stopped
The car started rolling backward
It was a high mountain edge
My legs trembled
My wife cried in fear
The road was narrow and dangerous
This was one of the most frightening moments of our lives.
Then God Spoke
Right in that crisis, the voice of the Holy Spirit whispered:
“Do not be afraid — My angels are surrounding you.”
Immediately, a supernatural peace came over us. I turned the key again — The engine started instantly. And in one smooth stretch, without stopping again, we reached Semiliguda safely.
Biblical Truth
Psalm 91:11–12 — “He will command His angels concerning you… they will lift you up.”
Psalm 34:7 — “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him.”
Isaiah 41:10 — “Fear not, for I am with you… I will uphold you.”
✨ 5. God Spoke a Prophetic Word on the Mountain
As we finished climbing the ghat, God spoke clearly to my heart:
“This climb is a sign of your victory.”
What looked like danger was actually prophecy. The mountain you climbed physically was the mountain you were going to conquer spiritually. It was the sign of the new chapter God was opening.

Deuteronomy 1:6 — “You have stayed long enough at this mountain… move forward.”
Habakkuk 3:19 — “He makes my feet like the deer; He enables me to tread on the heights.”
Psalm 18:33 — “He makes me stand on the high places.”
✨ 6. Koraput — The Mountain of God in My Life
Koraput is filled with mountains, waterfalls, and streams. This became a picture of what God did in my soul.
He brought me out of chaos and planted me on high ground — the place of His presence, peace, and purpose.
Biblical Truth
Psalm 40:2 — “He lifted me out of the pit… and set my feet on a rock.” God took me from instability and set me on His mountain-rock.
Isaiah 2:2–3 — “In the last days the mountain of the Lord will be established… and all nations will stream to it.” God brought me to a place where I could hear Him again and rebuild a God-centered purpose.
✨ 7. Restoration After 3 Years — Peace, Rest, and Calling
After moving to Koraput, everything changed:
My spiritual life was restored
My peace returned
My purpose became clear

Biblical Truth
Jeremiah 6:16 — “Stand at the crossroads… walk in the ancient paths, and you will find rest for your souls.” In Koraput, God gave me the rest I had missed for 10 years.
1 Peter 5:10 — “After you have suffered a little while, God will restore you, strengthen you, and establish you.” The three years here have been a time of restoration and establishment.
Joel 2:25 — “I will restore the years the locusts have eaten.” God restored what was lost in Bhubaneswar.
✨ 8. The Prophetic Picture — Streams From the Mountain
Mountains collect water Rain and melting snow gather in high places.
Streams are born This water moves downhill due to gravity, forming small streams.
Streams join to form rivers Many small streams come together and become larger rivers.
Rivers flow down into valleys and plains They travel long distances, supplying life everywhere they pass.
Rivers finally empty into the sea Most rivers eventually reach the ocean, where the water ends its journey.
Water evaporates and goes back up The sun heats the ocean → water evaporates → becomes clouds → returns as rain again. This is the water cycle God designed.
🌧️ A Biblical note (if you like spiritual meaning)
Ecclesiastes 1:7 says: “All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.”
This is exactly the scientific water cycle written thousands of years ago.
In Koraput, rivers and waterfalls flow from the mountain and eventually reach the sea.
God showed me that I am now part of His “mountain streams.”
Meaning
Just like streams start in the mountains and flow into the sea… God will flow His work through me back to the places I came from — even to Bhubaneswar.
Biblical Truth
Psalm 1:3 — “He is like a tree planted by streams of water… whatever he does prospers.” God has replanted me where His stream flows.
Ezekiel 47:1–12 — The river from the Temple brings life wherever it flows. God is making my life a stream that will bring life to other regions.
Ecclesiastes 1:7 — “All streams flow into the sea…” The stream God started in me at the mountain will reach the sea again — but this time with purpose.
✨ 9. The Mountain of God — A New Identity and Assignment
God brought me out of the place of struggle and placed me into His mountain — a place of:
Calling
Restoration
Fresh anointing
Vision for family and ministry
Kingdom purpose
Biblical Truth
Psalm 87:1 — “His foundation is in the holy mountains.”
Psalm 125:1 — “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion — unshakeable.”
Isaiah 58:11 — “You shall be like a watered garden and a spring whose waters never fail.”

“God took me from the sea of struggle to the mountain of purpose. He restored my soul, planted me in His presence, and made me a stream that will flow life into many regions.”
